While working in the backyard I couldn't help but notice a large dragonfly flying about. At first I just watched, figuring he would move on at anytime. But he just kept circling and darting around where I was working so I went inside and came back with my camera. These were all taken with my Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro lens.
This guy just would not stay still. It was very hard to get a picture. I was surprised to get these. I really like the way the board picked up the shadow and the color of the wings in this one.
I got lots of pictures with a blurred or missing dragonfly. I lost track of how many I took trying to get this last picture.
