My First Senior Composite

In this composite I brought in as many elements that pertained to the senior as I could. The silhouette of the horse is from the graphic on her truck. The cowboy boots and hat in the corner are also hers. I used a rope font using a color from her boots.

After it was all said and done, I wish I had moved the picture on the right just a little more to the left. Oh well, I had no idea how to do any of this when I started and have a better feel for how I will approach the next one.

good first try

some things to think about for future work

should boots have faced into the image rather than leading eye out?

three bright areas compete the face of horse which is OK - the halo around subject on left should be toned down a little --her ear on the subject on right.

You just keep leaving your box behind.

You don;t need to post this - it is just suggestions for you to think about.

Thanks Jane,

I am going to take another stab at this. The client likes the idea but wants it in color and the picture of her on the horse more centered. I may try and use the color of the truck for the background instead of the dark-gray or go with a white one. One of the things I am learning is I have to be careful with my work-flow so that I can make changes without having to go through the pain of re-doing a lot of work.
