Caballito del Diablo (Devil's Horse)

Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park & Museum III

The Dragonfly dome is the work of Voss Finn. The dome stands 11 feet high with a diameter of 22 feet. As you can see I took the liberty to have some fun with this one and thought it made for a nice collage.

Dragonfly's have quite a bit of history and folklore. The title of the post which is Spanish comes from "Romanian folklore that says the dragonfly was once a horse possessed by the devil. This is also seen in the Maltese culture as the word for dragonfly which is "Debba ta' l-infern" literally means Hell's mare." (Wikipedia) Click here Wikipedia Dragonfly to learn more.
